“From the Hatters to the Nighthawks”

We talk with Ben about how he came to leave the UK and embark on a journey as a student athlete at Thomas University in Georgia.

We uncover the process, the requirements, and why he picked Thomas when other offers were on the table.

An interesting first few weeks gave him his love back for the game and he threw himself into proving a point and giving it his best. 

We also talk about how his release from Luton Town left him dejected with the game and how this culminated in taking a year off.

Trying a new experience in the US and immersing himself in the program and life stateside has changed his life, met his wife and is now a citizen in his adopted country.

I am proud he took the plunge as he’s written his own fantastic story and he deserves all the rewards that come with it.
